Amal Aziz is a journalist and behavior analyst from California State University, Northridge and reside in Stockholm, Sweden. Today she works mainly in the media field, but she’s also a consultant for various health care institutions who encounter with refugees and POC; dealing with mental health.
Amal has for a very long time been involved in topics such as diversity and inclusion.
She’s up to date about topics involving the MENA region, diaspora communities and culture. She’s highly knowledgeable when it comes to the conflict in Yemen, which is today called the biggest humanitarian crisis in the world. She visited Yemen in 2018 during the height of the civil war and documented the day to day struggle that people in Yemen are enduring.
